OK read a lot of post tried recalibrating but this may have been too big of a hit.  The gimbal now sits facing down, to one side, still works but way off.

So anyone any idea how much it would cost to fix?  Is it worth it.  On my P1 I use a cheapo gimbal and have not really noticed much differance?

Anyway can anyone point to a cheapo gimbal that works out the box for the p2

Thanks, may have to do that when I have some $$

I tried a re-calibration on the gimbal, and it helped. I now see the software in the assistant. And the gimbal booted up pretty even.... although the tilt is all the way down. The camera is almost pointing backwards..... I have the lever on the back of the controller but the has NEVER done anything, even before the crash
