Today, on a commercial shoot I was not able to fly my Mavic 2. It said the No fly zone with a red bar across the top. I know for a fact that area was class G and open. I double checked using the Airmap app and the airspace is unrestricted. So I had to pull out my Autel and fly the job with that. I don't like how the Autel flies, or how the camera shoots, but at least it flies when it's supposed to. I absolutely can't show up to a job without having my Autel with me because I need an aircraft that I know will fly when I tell it to. There is no point in bringing DJI as backup because of this broken no fly system.

DJI can you explain why I have intermittent problems flying in this area ?

I fly commercially about 10 jobs per week so I am not new to this.
