Should I upgrade to 1.2.0, main device is a Samsung S5?

Is the 1.1.0 APK available somewhere?

I want to try to use my son's Samsung Tab 4 7 but can only find the 1.2 version.

I am using a S4 and 1.2.0 works fine on it.  I would not hesitate using the upgrade.

In my view, there seems to be no strong and compelling reason to upgrade to 1.2.0 - Indeed, I noticed in this forum at least one thing may have occurred with that version of the Pilot App:

There seems (just my unscientific yet conscious observation) to be pronounced problems with the FW 1.2.6 and 1.2.8 when used with the 1.2.0 Pilot App as opposed to 1.1.0

In my own case, I have the "old" Pilot App coupled with 1.2.8 and have experienced none of the many issues listed in the forum here (That could simply be LUCK, of course). The video does not hesitate or lose signal, there are no gimbal warnings, no excess heat, no weird independent flight behavior, etc.; I usually pick an empty channel and always the lowest bitrate to see what is going on. Still, the Pilot and the FW may have nothing to do with each other - I do not know.

I am SURE there are just as many reasons to proceed with the upgrade, as well. That's just my read on it.

Edit: Per comment below, removed the notion that custom wifi channels and bitrate of view could not be selected in 1.2.0; apparently these are intact?

I do not believe so unless someone has a copy.  Many users keep copies of all the Apps.

Thanks for the opinion and thoughts. This is why I want to try the son's tablet with the 1.1.0 version, I have not experienced any issues with this version and would like to keep it that way.

Posted few weeks ago, I have bad lag issues with 1.2.0

I am using 1.2.0 on a tab4 7" with no issues. I have slight video lag but i think that happened when i updated the firmware, not the app. Tried an ipad air and it doesnt look much different.   The tablet doesn't run hot at all but I do have pretty much everything except the pilot app turned off.

2. The Pilot App 1.2.0 has removed both the manual low-traffic-channel selection option and the megabit-rate quality selection for getting your live view.

I am running 1.2.0 qnd still have the manual channel selection though there arent as many channels available.  You just select custom and the channels and bit rate are selectable.

No worries. I am using android. Might be different on ios.
