I really like Davinci.
Although it is (still) not as quick as my 'goto' editor (Vegas Pro) for me.
But for most of the tracking and stabilizing stuff I use Davinci.

It does come with a steeeeeeeeep learning curve and (not in 17 so far) it does hang up quite often on me.

I tried it after learning FCPX basics and it wasn't too bad,  but still I tend to pop off to YT tutorials frequently

Yeah, feels like every thing I want to do requires at least one tutorial.

Plus many handy edit 'shortcuts' seem left out (or are nowhere to be found on YT)
Like slow motion by ALT dragging with the mouse. (or any other key command)
Which is super handy to get the end point exactly where the music needs it to be.

It is really frustrating when editing is such a breeze in Vegas Pro.

Good video.  I have been trying to use Resolve for a while but I can not figure out how to make the viewing screen large enough to see what I am doing.  On your video when you are doing the color, your viewing screen is large enough to see the changes.  Mine is about as big as the node screen, about 1" on my 55" monitor.  I have tried all the resolution setting, I have tried to expand the viewing widow by dragging the edges, that doesn't work, I have gone into workspace and settings and nothing to enlarge the viewing screen on the resolve workspace.

Yes.  There’s so many tutorials on YouTube and their own website that it’s easy to find solutions when you don’t know something.

The free version has everything you need.   Have a look at the tutorials on YT to see if you like it.
