Because of the Pocket 2 contest, I wanted to convert the DNG files from the P2 motion timelapse and make a short video to show the end result.
I used the Freewell ND1000 to get some motion blur and everything was set to manual.
I did not dare to use auto exposure, so that did result in a bit blown out start of the video.
But all in all, I'm sure happy with the end result.
Very stable and nice to add in my holiday video (that will take some time to edit....)

Considering its size, it is a nice addition to my toolbag.
I was surprised by the video quality and the ease of taking it with me.
My main use will me these motion timelapses, but on holiday I used it a lot for walking shots too.

It is not a 'perfect' camera, the screen is tiny and not always responding quickly and it lacks some hands on controls via buttons, but..... It is all about size for this camera, so I can live with that.
Noise is an issue (as with all DJI camera systems) but at iso100 the output is good enough for me.
The battery lasts for 2 hours, which is good I think .
And I love the cinelike color profile and DNG output.
They really add to the value of this tiny camera!

I'm planning to get the do it all handle, or some other base that allows for sideway connection to be able to mount the P2 and charge it with a powerbank.
Sometimes I wished it had longer battery life, so I could make another one.

That is the battery life indeed.
I have no accurate end time, since I usually left the P2 running while I was away.
So it could have been 2,5h, but certainly not more.

No problem!
Not when using a tripod.
The usb port is on the bottom.
So is the tripod mount.
So there is no room for both.
On the Do It All handle, the usb port is on the side.
It is almost as if they did that on purpose.....
So you have one more reason to spend an extra € 99,-
But I have seen one 3rd party thing that is just a tripod mount plus an USB port on the side, but that was sold out and only for P1 (not sure if they have the same connections)

I love the P2 for this kind of footage.
Something no other camera I have can do.
And I don't want to use the DSLR for timelapses too much, as it eats up the shutter very very fast.

I feel the same.
I sort of hope they release a DJI base plate that allows for this, but I have little hope.

Yeah, I know.
I just went for the basic version (without the other stuff) so that was a bit less.
Also, I used my credits to lower the burden even more.
