Lock ups on 1.4.8. Device Type ; Samsung 10e,
worked fine on mini, mini 2 and Air 2s until 1.4.8
With 1.4.8 I had screen Information lock ups, Image OK, everything else stuck!
Went back to 1.4.4

No Firmware you mean Application Version.

Android (Motorola Moto G8) and DJI Fly 1.4.8

It works fine for the most part, except the occasional black screen/app restart or the video feed freeze. Not very common, but keep happening from time to time.

As for the firmware I'm using 02.04.1690 as it's the recommended by DH (using the FCC/Boost hack).

My Mini 2 is vanilla, so using the latest firmware there.

No probs with my Galaxy S10 PLUS using 1.4.8.

All ok with my Huawei P20 Pro (1.4.8 1120)

Does anyone in the USA have an Samsung galaxy S6, 7 , 8 , 9, or 10 that work's on 1.4.8? Most other countries use different processors, so wondering if that is our problem now?

Why updating the app when nothing is something new for your drone?
I only updating when needed, like in combination with new firmware. For my mini 2 is that 1.4.2

Works fine with Huawei P30 Pro, App version 1.4.8 (1120)

No problem 1.4.8 on Samsung Note 9

I'm using my galaxy s20 with version 1.4.8 and latest FW with no issues.

Using 1.4.8 (1120) ...No problems using the Smart Controller, Samsung S20FE, or Samsung Note 8

DJI fly 1.4.8 (1120) on

1. Asian Samsung S20fe 5G (snapdragon processor)

2. DJI smart controller

both work fine. No problems.

Don't worry, it's an app problem. It also happens on other android phones including my Mi 11 Ultra which is on the "supported" list.

More than 50 flights with 1.4.8 and iPad Mini 5 without any issues.

Interesting. Using v1.4.8 on both my iPhone 12 and iPad Air 3rd gen and have not encountered lockups. iOS updated recently to 14.7.1 and I try to keep the firmware updated on the aircraft and controller.

Hope folks who are encountering issues can get this resolved.

Hi using Samsung A50 with Mini 2 1.4.8 1120.  Crashes/freezes/restarts several times per flight particularly when adjusting photo/video exposure.  Happens with different batteries installed.  Only have the drone a couple of weeks so quite disappointed with this.

No issues here running Version 1.4.8 on both Snapdragon Galaxy S10e and ASUS ZenPad 8.0 Z380M 16GB

here poco x3 pro with mini2 and 1.4.8 dji fly no problems

Had several issues with FlyApp V1.4.8 on my Samsung A50 went back to V1.4.4 no issues any more

1.4.8 on Samsung Galaxy S20 5G, 128GB no issues.

No problem on 1.4.8 with Smart Controller.

I had issues with 1.4.8 on a Samsung S8, prior to that version its been rock solid.  I went back to 1.4.2 which is stable.

Redmi Note 9 here and all good.

Mini 1 and air2s using note 10+ and Samsung s7. App crashes all the way out will randomly freeze sometimes whole app freeze or like to day only a few things will get stuck ie. Was about 3k ft out turned around to come back live feed still worked but all speed and distance was frozen and could not bring up map had to hover and restart app the auto RTH and again less than a minute later frozen again. I hope this gets fixed I got 6 hours on my new $1000 drone and 5 of them are dealing with app crashes.

All well till 1.4.8. After that: rare app frozen, but many info on app frozen with camera stream updated.

I am using mini 2. Since downloading app version 1.4.8 the stream footage works but all buttons freeze. I am using a Samsung A70 all firmware updated.  I never had a problem until most recent update.  I tested it again today and same issue. I have now uninstall it and reinstalled to see if that will work.

I used an iPad mini4 for a couple of years on Go4 and Fly.  When the iPad updated to iOS 14.6 it became useless because of video lag and CPU overload warnings.  The lag got much worse when it had an audio output.  Like if the bats got to low and auto RTH warning came it was impossible to cancel because of lag in the mini4 iPad. Sadly this iOS cannot be rolled back.  I had to switch to my old mini2 iPad with iOS 12 and it works smoothly even with Fly 1.4.8.

Find somewhere in this forum (don't know where) the version 1.4.8 (1185-official). It's still a beta version. Works without problems on a Galaxy A 51.

App crashes every time I fly. Never had an an issue until now. Latest FW on drone & batteries.
I have had to restart app while flying. Sometimes more than once. Gimbal kick/flip on dronie quickshot at the end of the quickshot. sure it does it on one of the others but can't remember at this time.
Freezes. Did not log hight/distance.

I have uninstalled. cleared cache. Reinstalled and it still crashes. Most of the flights are in the countryside so no interferance.
I live in the UK

Moto G7 Power with my Mini 2 no issues yet.

I downloaded a beta version? 1.4.8 (1185 official), it seem to work well. previously I had installed 1.4.2 an older version I still had on my phone, it worked but didn't include some updates.

Avec Xiaomi MI note 10  et  Dji Fly 1.4.8 version 1120  je ne vole plus . Ecran figé même à une distance de 20 mètres.
Par contre j'aimerai bien savoir comment télécharger la version 1185 .
