Hi. I only recently purchased my Mini 2. Looking at the gimble, I notice that the 2 shock absorber locator pins are facing outwards and pressing against the sides of the drone rather than facing inwards and securing in to the slots in the frame. Is this normal? Everything works just fine but it seems odd that the gimble is not locked in at this point, rather than relying on pressure against the side walls. Do I have an issue?

Mine doesn't look like that, to me it looks like yours wasn't assembled properly.  I'd get that replaced by the retailer if I was in your position

Yes, for sure it is a production fault. Easy to rectify in theory, but the parts are very delicate so I will leave it up to DJI to fix.

Wow, that's not assembled correctly.  Somehow that slipped through the QA process.  I'd take it back to where you purchased it.  Don't attempt a DIY fix.
