Hi guys,

Unfortunately, my Mavic 2 Pro's controller took a tumble earlier today and, while it still does work just fine for control, the button for the shutter has fallen into the void and I can't seem to find it anywhere! (I had it in my car and it fell of the remote and it's simply gone). The button barely held in anyways since the controller was a little deformed in the area that it fell and, ideally, I'd like to replace the controller. Now a new Mavic 2 controller is $300+ and a Smart controller is almost triple. I was wondering if the Mavic Air 2 controller would be compatible since they seem to both use the same radio interface. Has anyone tried this or could provide any input?

Definitely not compatible.  Maybe you can find a used Mavic 2 Pro controller on eBay for much less than $300.  Best of luck.

Which button was it again? The small round one on the top next to the display or the "squarish" one on the back? The small round one is readily available from many sellers.

Unfortunately, it's the shutter/focus button. It's the one that has an icon of a camera on it.

Already did. The cost to repair alongside being out of a controller for a few weeks is worse than simply buying a used controller off ebay. Looks like that's the plan for now, I suppose.

What is interesting is that I recently removed the left camera button because I was accidentally pressing it and interrupting the recording.
