What better way to try out the DJI Pocket2 time-lapse feature than when a storm is blowing up over the Helderberg mountains as seen from Strand?

Did the storm actually materialise? At the end the tree fronds were barely moving

Now that looks ominous,   not a good day to fly thats for sure.

Yep, As I sit here typing it is very cold ( 6 deg C but feels like 2 according to my weather app). It was raining heavily most of the night and now is juite squally.

This is the "Cape of Storms" as well as the "Cape of good hope" and was described as the "Fairest Cape" by some matelot  in the days of yore

It amazes me how they follow fishing boats miles out to sea.

But then look at the lenghts the British (seagulls) will go to for a bit of fish (and chips), even if it is wrapped in some old newspaper

We get them pecking at the dustbins here for scraps.

Thanks Downtown, Those clouds brought hail and snow (to the upper mountains) and I am going to enjoy the weekend in a nice snug warm bed with my beloved.

It works very easy and makes great shots!
