So this weekend it was the Sundown festival here in Norfolk.
Friday to Sunday night, with people required to leave the site by midday today.

I took a quick flight without overflying the main site making full use of the 4 times zoom on the Mavic Air 2.

So many tents left behind, all single use plastic / poly material. This festival is aimed at a younger age group, one that will be left to pick up the pieces long after my generation are dead and cremated.
Replicate this by other festivals....

It is the same for all festivals. At Download Festival you have to buy your own cup, you can either keep it at the end of the festival or sell it back to the bar. There does not seem to be any respect at the festivals.

I like that idea...think the price of tents is too cheap when they become disposable...

They should be made to pay a landfill surcharge on the ticket price . Charge them 20 and use the money to try and recycle all the stuff.

Horrible,  just horrible,   it seems to be the same at all the festivals these days,  I blame the price of tents,  they are so cheap now they have become disposable.

Nicely documented.  Real shame if all those tents end up in a landfill.  Has to be a better way.

Amen to that, won't be on their 'gram or reels, that's for sure...it's clearing up after other folks messes.
