Had a chance to get up close to the UK army's fleet of Apache helicopters and talk about the issues of very low training flights.  I also go through the risk and likelihood of actual damage in the event of a drone stilke with a helicopter, along with some useful thoughts on how fast you can descend when one of these is approaching you fast.A different perspective....

A flying tank basically. On balance of probabilities anything smaller than the old Mavic Pros would not do any damage - more likely is the unrecoverable loss both material and financial of losing one's UAV in any close encounter - not least of which the prop wash would be just as risky to the drone as any actual physical contact.
