The problem above is just one of the issues I am having with the OM 5. When I am using the zoom function, each time it changes the camera, the image ‘’ jumps’’ , or became white for way fraction of the second. Anyone has the same issue ?  With iPhone 11 Pro.

I sent my OM 5 back, I got a replacement, same problem with the zoom, and overheating. I had the version  3 and 4 of the gimbal, absolutely no issues. The new OM 5 is a piece of useless garbage so far.

Hi, did you tried the zoom function ( left side button)? Does the image jumps when changes camera( goes over the white dots on the zoom line)?

Mine has vibrated like crazy but never any warnings!

I returned mine on the next day and bought OM4. I'm very happy with OM4 which works really well. No issues.

That’s what I did as well.

Just kind of snotty that DJI withholds SOFTWARE features such as Active Track 4.0 and ShotGuides on the OM4. Their pending BS answer aside these are 100% software features and could be brought over to the OM4. Same as DJI not giving OM4 owners a medium setting for follow mode. How petty can they get.

Agree. That's a little bit disappointing. To me OM5 is a flop and I'm sure many will agree. Yes, it's sleek and beautiful but it should not be coming at the expense of the core functionality.

The kind of crap that Apple do but more blatant

Im getting the same issue it vibrates once in a while.. using iPhone 11 and 12 pro

Just got a OM5 and have the same problem with Google Pixel 5.

I am so disappointed that I cannot describe. Not sure I will ever buy other DJI device. I am so frustrated

OM5 is a piece of garbage. DJI is in trouble if do not get their act together and release an OM6 fast as competitors are already release viable alternatives.

I have the same vibration  problem and I bought this om5 few days back. I tried with s21 ultra, iphone 12, 13 etc and tried out all possible suggestions given in this forum but nothing worked. I am planning to return this OM 5 and try a lower version. I bought this from JBHifi in Sydney.

Got the OM 5 yesterday - had the old OM 3 - and it seems to be working fine with my 12 Pro Max (no case - the Otterbox Commuter case is too big for it).

Am cumpărat Joi 24 februarie, în urmă cu două zile, un Dji om 5, a funcționat perfect până s-a descărcat acumulatorul, l-am încărcat și la pornire, licăre primul led roșu și verde intermitent, cele trei leduri albe, stau aprinse.
Problema este că motorașele sunt inexistente, nu mai lucrează.
Ce poate fi ?

I am having an issue with my OM5 shaking uncontrollably and overheating up to 125 degrees F.  Does anyone have similar issues and a fix?

I was so excited to get the OM 5 about a year ago.
I do not use it much. But straight out of the box I had a problem with the gimbal flipping from landscape to portrait after about 10 seconds of video recording.
I took the phone cover off and that still happens.
I use iPhone 8 and iPhone 14max.
A friend told me it’s a hardware problem. Very disappointed.
Has anyone else experienced something like this

My OM5 is also experiencing abnormal vibration and spinning automatically without touching any buttons as soon as I turn on the gimble.
I have tried several times of auto calibration but no success.
then the message appears after a few seconds showing "motor protected and restart again".
I am totally disappointed for such a problem and have felt like waste of money.
Please advice me how to fixed the problem
