Beautiful locations. Is the second one an oxbow lake? It's curve suggests the possibility. A view from a greater altitude would have shown it.

I don't think it's an oxbow lake - this entire region was heavily influenced by tides, and as far as I understand oxbow lakes used to be rather large rivers - those in this region are pretty small.

I see. Thanks for the explanation. So the water in that lake could be slightly saline, so near the coast?
