Was wondering what Apps/software people are using to edit vids and pictures ?

Video edit Resolve Studio or premiere. Photos in Lightroom. Stitching pano's in PTGUI

I take it none of theses are free?

Davinci Resolve has a free version that is crazy good. the paid studio version has some fancy tricks but nothing you really need right away.

Thanks for the reply pal.. I'll have a look Friday when I have a day off work... Any decent free photo editors?

Cannot comment on free photo suites (all photoshop and lightroom for me) but I hear great things about the affordable Affinity photo:

I use Final Cut Pro for videos and Lightroom for photos.

Was with Filmora X, but made the switch to Final Cut Pro for video.  Use Abobe Camera RAW for Photos

DaVinci Resolve for videos and Lightroom for photos.

A really great app for editing drone footage including 4K is LumaFusion . It’s exceptionally easy and intuitive and a once off price of €25 it’s the best value out there. Just a couple of things you need to be using apple iPad or Mac or iMac.

I prefer Final Cut Pro for videos and Lightroom for photos.

Thease are paid versions and it all comes down to what you are looking to do. Just clipping together your drone or other video footage with no major color adjustments or crazy titles then you can easily get away with a free version of something.

If you want to turn this into something more like a paid job then investing in the right software will pay off in the long run.

I also use Sony Vegas Pro for video editing. And also Movavi https://www.movavi.com/ .This software is my main video editor. I've been using it since 2019 and I really like it.
