I'm having some problem balancing my Canon M50 with the phonemount. The USB cable is also in the way. With more adjustment, I'm sure I'll figure it out.

But I'm wondering, since the M50 camera can connect to my phone and my phone can even control it remotely, is it possible to use that video feed as the source for the Ronin app's Active Track feature rather than the phone's own camera? Would rather mount my phone by the handle rather than having to balance it. Phones are getting too big for these kind of manuvers.

Alternatively, can the same be done with a USB connected camear instead of the phone's own camera. They sell mall external cameras for phones, balacing a camera the size of a short sharpie pen got to be easier than the giant Samsung Galaxy.

If these are not possible, where is the suggest box for the next app update?

I know RavenEye exists, but aside from the activetrack feature, the control over the camera can already be done using Canon's own app.
