All dji drones carry CE mark and couldn’t be sold in Europe if they didn’t. Under future EASA rules drones must carry Cx mark of safety, this safety policy has not been invoked and wont be until earliest 2023. After this date drones could be relegated to flying in controlled spaces and under heavy restrictions. But we all know this would not be in EASA’s interest or any drone manufacturers interest including Dji, in fact its in no ones interest so I’m certain no one will be left holding a bricked drone. And just like the scaremongering that went on around Air2/Air2s Nobody will be penalised. But if you want to believe the conspiracy theories that’s your prerogative.
Yes, you are right. In principle, it's in everyone's interest to solve this. In principle, even if it does not get any classification, sub 25kg drones in the worst case will be treated as A3 and sub-250g as A1. |
