Indeed.
Almost looks like they have nothing to do but stall the process.

They really shouldn’t bring in these new rules until after they start rolling out the products IMHO.

In line with office hours here - typically 8 til 4:15 although it varies a lot.

Not sure why there is such a difference, but hey, it is what it is.

I’d could see a new app, then you’d split the low end stuff with the pro and enterprise space.

Okay, that makes sense.

On paper the spec and features look amazing and hopefully Mavic 3 will live up to that! Given how quickly I fell in love with Mini 2 (my first ever DJI drone), Mavic 3 is on my "must get" list already

As youre in Europe might be best to check your local rules,  for me the Mavic 3 will become legacy and when that happens I will have to stay 150m away from people, buildings, structures, beaches etc.

So Mavic 3 still won't have a CE classification? Yes, here in Spain the same EASA regulation applies (even with slightly more restrictions). That's quite a bummer

And it’s 920 grams so still too heavy.   Btw it’s not CE just Cx

Looking forward to seeing the video specs (codecs, color bit depth, bit rate, etc). While the i2/x7 is wonderful, I sure wouldn't mind lugging around a smaller bird some days.

All dji drones carry CE mark and couldn’t be sold in Europe if they didn’t. Under future EASA rules drones must carry Cx mark of safety, this safety policy has not been invoked and wont be until earliest 2023. After this date drones could be relegated to flying in controlled spaces and under heavy restrictions. But we all know this would not be in EASA’s interest or any drone manufacturers interest including Dji, in fact its in no ones interest so I’m certain no one will be left holding a bricked drone. And just like the scaremongering that went on around Air2/Air2s Nobody will be penalised. But if you want to believe the conspiracy theories that’s your prerogative.

Yes, you are right. In principle, it's in everyone's interest to solve this. In principle, even if it does not get any classification, sub 25kg drones in the worst case will be treated as A3 and sub-250g as A1.
