Eight combines on a windy day harvest 295 acres.  Flying the Mavic Air 2 to catch the action in sport mode just to make headway against the wind.  Orbiting a moving object in sport mode was quite a challenge.

Thanks.  Yes it was/is an annual event.  Ten local farmers do the planting and harvesting, a number of local businesses donate for the seed, fertilizer and diesel.  The video below has more detail.
I make the videos because one of the 10 farmers is a friend of mine.

Thanks Joecos.  Yes it did.  To reduce dust I hand launched and recovered.  I alway clean the lens before take-off so this did not become an issue.

This is awesome.  8 combines.  40' swath, makes short work for 300 acres.  I felt bad for the one grain cart guy/gal.
