Is it possible to get the drone into a position in the air, set the direction and gimbal angle, and save that postion?

You can create waypoints but the accuracy I've found isnt good enough for repeatability.

For reference, in Waypoints the drone automatically takes photos on a flight path of two to five waypoints and generates a timelapse video. The drone can fly in order from waypoint #1 to #5 or #5 to #1.Please note that the drone exits from Waypoints if any command from the remote controller is received. so there is no way I can save current location, direction and gimbal angle?
