Hi all,

I promised to give some feedback on the accessories I bought for the little champ...
(She really is a little champion, isn't she?)

I am very glad with the landing gear, it snaps on nicely and gives you (me?) more confidence to land on firm but slightly uneven surfaces.

I only received the new, longer, joysticks today and do need to get used to them a little bit more I guess.
They do seem to fit my (very) big hands better but I was more and more getting used to lay my thump on the dome of the joystick to obtain better control.
I need to obtain a different way to both rest my hand and control the joystick on the top.
It does make a difference, a slight movement on the top translates to a more subtle movement on the base of course.
But again, first day and still searching for the best way to use them.

WoW..... the silicone cover and neckstrap.... somebody here already said, the silicon probably being too flexible for the strap.
Have not tested it yet, for it had only arrived when I went out testing the joysticks, but first impression is: flimsy.... very...
I liked the lower point to attach the strap to as compared to the ones that have an inlay under your phone. But....
I don't think it will last long...

I think it may have been myself that mentioned it might be flimsy, silicone also gets more and more flimsy over time, i have used silicone covers on my phones and E-Cig mod cases and with use, they become much more pliable. At least ya wouldn't have paid too much, also you wouldn't be using it constantly like a phone or e-cig so it will last longer than mine did...

But you were right.
Right out of the box, when you hang it around your neck with the strap, it already stretches the case on the mounting place.

Anyway, it was a nice try and I am going to use it too for now, but it does not feel all that solid.

There are better options I think

Well....

It is also available in dark green
Perhaps it will last long enough, the controller does not hang on the strap all the time, of course.
We will see....

ah, thats a shame, i did see a double lanyard, it fixes to either side, not sure where i saw it now, looked ok, i have a harness for my phantom, not using anything at the minute for the mini though, i think need to sort sommat out, would make starting up and  taking off from the hand easier

Now that would be good and great if it have 2 or maybe 3 anchor points, it needs to go further out horizontally and have a point on each end then that point where it is now, that way it would stop it spinning out when you let go of it, phantom users will know what i mean, more so when a larger tablet is used.

yep, that was the idea for buying the lanyard in the first place.......

Yes you write, it is not that stable but it looks good. So the controller is dressed and doesn't look so naked and so it certainly won't freeze in autumn :-)
Don't you have a buying source in Germany? At alibaba and Ali in China, it always takes forever to get that delivered.
I would also pay a few euros more if I can get it faster.

See how thin the case is next to the phone mounts?

(Thinking of having best of two worlds... buy the ABS version, cut out the silicon hook and use that for controller sleeve only... lol)

I would pay for sommat like that one but modified like in my image, don't judge me, i know i can't draw for shlt lol, those black things are the loops for, so 3 points of lanyard contact
