I have heard guys wanting to switch to the "perfect" Solo but have a look at this first.

He's actually being nice.....because he has a lot of followers. He sent it back and doesn't think it's even worth flying.

The same goes for lots of others. Please stay away from that particular model for at least 4-6 months. If you don't want a DJI consider a Yuneec or a Blade - you won't get as nice a quad as a P3, but at least it will work.

Not sure why anyones wants this comparison.  It is like comparing a Toyota to a Porsche.  Both are car but...

Just wish that we had the 3DR software for the P3.
Looks 1000 times more useful for film making.

I wonder, though, if all the "moves" that these automatically do are going to get boring as compared to the true art of making and editing video?

1. The Ultimate Pilot App. will not cover your warranty if you have a problem since it´s 3rd party SW.
2.  I´m not looking for flight challenges with the P3 "I have another drone for that" -  ....but a stable filming platform that can provide as much help as possible to get great shots.
