Hi, My Mavic air says i need to calibrate the IMU but when I go to settings and get to "start calibration", it does not calibrate it just seats there. Is there something I can do?

my DJI Spark experience the same! I also tried to calibrate the compass. But it didn't seems to respond even when I rotate the drone.

Yes, the firmware is up to date but the calibration button is still not working.

Hi there, please try to re-update the aircraft firmware, then restart and try the calibration again. If it still cannot be solved, please send it back for repair.

Hello

And to whom it may concern.

I do too have a ma Vick air SN: 0K1CFBA3AH6ZP7
This is what happens:
I push on take off
System warns me of a IMU calibration issue
I go to “calibrate IMU”
A new window opens with the word in blue START
I press it but it won’t engage
Basically nothing happens


What can be done?
Time and help greatly appreciated

We apologize for the inconvenience. Please provide us the operation video to assist in judgment. Kindly ensure that the drone is placed on a horizontal plane during calibration. May we confirm if there's any error code you received? If the machine is on standby for a long period of time, power it off and allow it to cool to room temperature. Then, power it on for calibration. We recommend you ensure the firmware has been updated successfully.

Please keep us updated on the progress.

I have an Air2S that I haven't touched in months (when it was working fine) and today it is saying "incompatible gimbal data" along with a long list of errors , including IMU calibration required. I get the same result as previous posters where the "Start" button for the IMU calibration doesn't do anything. All software and firmware has been updated. I had a replacement warranty which expired at the end of December but the drone was working perfectly the last time I used it so I had no need to use it... so frustrating.

The DJI Air 2S App indicates an incompatible gimbal data error (error code 40021). Please confirm whether you have removed the gimbal and camera, and check for any issues.

Another problem indicated with the gimbal is when I try to calibrate the gimbal the gimbal contorts and twists down to the right and sticks there. The calibration hangs at 0%
I am using the smart controller and the only known issue I can find is the smart controller shows there is an update available but whenever I try to download and install it, it fails, saying I don't have enough space. On my internal storage the DJI Fly app is taking up 7.35GB of the 8.56GB used and there is nothing else I can see to remove.

Hi there, thank you for the response. It is advisable to clear cached photos in your DJI Smart Controller and try to update the firmware. Kindly follow the steps below and see if you're able to complete the update and perform the gimbal calibration:
1. Back up all the important data and perform a factory reset. If you want to  batch delete some cached photos/videos, please go to remote controller File Manager - Category - DJI GO 4 Media Files to select and delete the desired photos/videos. (Photos/videos can be selected and deleted by batch. )
2. Connect the remote controller to a computer. Go to the remote controller disk and the corresponding path to delete.

Once the space cleared, please try to update the perform and perform the gimbal calibration. If the issue still persists, kindly share with us a video recording showing the issue and the error message for us to analyze the issue and advise accordingly.
