I have not removed the gimbal or camera since I don't want to potentially cause a physical problem if this is a software issue. Another problem indicated with the gimbal is when I try to calibrate the gimbal the gimbal contorts and twists down to the right and sticks there. The calibration hangs at 0%
I am using the smart controller and the only known issue I can find is the smart controller shows there is an update available but whenever I try to download and install it, it fails, saying I don't have enough space. On my internal storage the DJI Fly app is taking up 7.35GB of the 8.56GB used and there is nothing else I can see to remove.
Hi there, thank you for the response. It is advisable to clear cached photos in your DJI Smart Controller and try to update the firmware. Kindly follow the steps below and see if you're able to complete the update and perform the gimbal calibration:
1. Back up all the important data and perform a factory reset. If you want to batch delete some cached photos/videos, please go to remote controller File Manager - Category - DJI GO 4 Media Files to select and delete the desired photos/videos. (Photos/videos can be selected and deleted by batch. )
2. Connect the remote controller to a computer. Go to the remote controller disk and the corresponding path to delete.
Once the space cleared, please try to update the perform and perform the gimbal calibration. If the issue still persists, kindly share with us a video recording showing the issue and the error message for us to analyze the issue and advise accordingly.
