Hey Family,

I noticed today after having not flying or using my drone in a while that when I am viewing and then downloading images from my drone - it is giving me 2 images - one that is enhanced and one that is as I shot it - Is there a way to prevent this from happening when you download images? Is everyone having this same issue? I can see this becoming a space issue if everything I download is duplicated. I am using the MM not the Mini 2

Never noticed that.  What firmware version in the Mini?

Sounds like one is a jpg and the other a dng RAW file? If so, then adjust your camera settings to only take what you prefer.

I don't have any camera setting that dictate a file format.... MM doesn't have that which I think you are referring to that is on the bigger drones.

But it gives me as I mentioned the original image - and then an image that looks like it is color corrected and lighting ect - but automatically done.

Hmm, ok, so both file names end with a .jpg extension?

I see the MIni2 offers JPEG/DNG (RAW), wonder if the software is configured by default to work in dual-format mode and supply both JPG and DNG to Mini2 users, and fall back to unprocessed (sorta raw) jpg and processed jpg for Mini users? Weird, but not the weirdest choice I've seen programmers go with when faced with legacy support challenges.

When I look in my iphone - one is a JPG (The original) and the other looks to be jpg also but thats the version with the auto adjustment edited look to it

If its a Mini2 then I think you have HD images turned on.

Not on Mini 2 - Mini 1.

Just cant figure out why it is giving me both versions.....

It's "enhanced" as the system says - there is the wand icon that is there where you can view the image enhanced or the original but that isnt present until you download the image....

I have the same issue with my Mini 1!
Actually, I thought, it is a wrong setting, so that I already have the low-res pictures on the Iphone, while flying, but I just
tested it, the duplication starts when downloading the pictures through the Fly app.

1. picture's name:  Photo_6619540_DJI_404_jpg_5546108_0_202192491924_photo_original.jpg. - 5,5 MB
2. picture's name: RemoteMediaFile_6619540_0_2021_09_24_09_19_24.jpg - 3,1 MB

Caching of recordings in Fly app is deactivated!

Its not the end of the world but I dont need 2 of every image taking up space in my phone...
