Just got an OM 5, to use with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, and was trying to figure out the different modes. Nothing DJI nor user created seems to have captured the mode relationships well -
Normal, aka Follow: Tilt and Pan will move; Roll axis locked. Keeps horizon level, though you still might tilt up or down to not see it. (Can add Active Track and/or Sport to this.)

FPV: all three axes will move, so you can now Roll, aka tilt the horizon. (Can add Sport. (Adding Active Track just changes it to Normal mode then tracks.))

Tilt Lock: Tilt and Roll axes locked, Pan not locked. Good for forward/backward movement, like walking, running. Or crane up/down shots. Cannot access via button gestures, can only access via … menu in Mimo app. (Can add Active Track and/or Sport to this mode.)

SpinShot: like FPV, but sideways push on joystick does smooth rolls, not pans as it normally would. Can only access via … menu.

Lock: All axes locked. Good when you need to move in ways not related to shot you want, like stepping around objects. Have to keep holding trigger in, so is a temporary mode that drops back to previous mode you were in when trigger is released. (Can add Active Track to it.)

Sport: Adds onto all modes, except Lock. It increases reaction speed. Access in ... menu to keep it enabled, or Double press triggger, holding on 2nd press, then releasing trigger disables Sport.
Active Track: Adds onto Normal/Follow, Tilt Lock, and Lock modes. But not FPV (doing so just changes it to Normal mode then tracks.) And not to SpinShot mode.

I haven't evaluated these with respect to rear selfie camera.
