If I use the smart controller with a new Air 2S, can I get a clean HDMI output out of the controller?

What resolution does it output? Is 720 and option? How about 1080i?

With the current Smart Controller you can playback video through the HDMI output port at up to 4K.  It is compatible with the Air 2S.

Any idea on the 720 res? Can you set output to that?

I ask because it will be piped into a broadcast TV transmission and 720 is less bandwidth and thus less problematic for me.
