I think that is the case - they face into the storm as it comes off the sea, and in summer the wind is from behind the mountain

I normally capture in 1080p 30fps. This was done in 4k 30fps and I can honestly say I see no difference - possibly because my monitor cannot handle the higher resolution. However, I can say that I had to do the editing on my a new laptop because the picture quality on my old laptop was rubbish. Even viewing the finished product on the old laptop was rubbish. The picture from youtube, which I suspect is lower than 4k, I can view on my old laptop.
This leads me to conclude that for the purpose of posting I will revert to 1080p unless otherwise required.

FHD is usually enough.
I shoot in 2.7 K, but my big camera's only have FHD.
And I very much prefer their footage.
