I have recently purchased mavic mini and everything was fine untill i noticed unintentional moves by the mini in all the directions without the action of the remote .
No issues with wings .Everything looks normal .Tried IMU ,compass calibration and i do fly in gps zone .One time it crash landed may be just 2 to 3 feet above the ground into the bushes .No visible damages .Everything was fine even after that .I have used multiple times .Also did the firmware update again just in case .

Any ideas what could be the issue ?

This involuntary movement is caused because vision system on the bottom of drone is not locking on to ground underneath, this can be caused by simple lack of texture or bad light. Testing should be done outside VPS range I think for this MINI if 45ft. Try it at this altitude and see what results you get as it will now be held by GPS.

The video I have shot is in open space on the terrace of my house .In india the drone is not allowed to travel above 15 meters .I have tried at the max height level which it can fly.I have the same issue (even the video comes shaky ) .
The thing is it was doing well before at the same place without any disturbances.

Wow that stinks.  15m is not very high.

Just a thought. If you are that close to the house, perhaps your drone does not get enough satellites due to that the house is blocking 1/2 the sky and that is why it does not stay still.

I have done many trials here before and it was very stable .Its an open roof terrace .
I can upload the flight logs flying in an open ground again

at start 5 satellites with bad reception, thus no GPS lock
after 26 seconds enoough GPS and reception, so HP was set, before that Mini1 in OPTI mode.
During this short flight your Mini1 was stable at position
At landing again low satellites and bad reception

Flight 18-05-26 >

Start with 8 GPS sats and reception not very good.
Error at 3 sec :  GPS signal weak. Positioning accuracy affected. Fly with caution GPS Position Mismatch.

So 'normal' to see an unstable mini1 in the hover.
Just wait longer for more satellites, and watch the GPS icon (top right) to go from red > amber > white! (white is oke to fly)

I have a Mavic Mini and a Mini 2, I am beginning to get the impression that, indoors, the Mavic Mini drifts less than the Mini 2.
What was the floor underneath the drone and how well was the floor lit?
If shot out of doors what wind was there on your terrace?
That said, in a 'normal' out doors flight would the drift exhibited in the video of post #1 be discernible when looking at the resulting video shot by the drone's camera?

It is my experience that when the drone is within the working range of the VPS system and the 'ground' is well enough lit. the VPS is MUCH better for position holding than GPS, .........MUCH better.
This was aptly demonstrated to me at dusk yesterday when, on being brought into land, with the landing site fairly dark i.e. too dark for the VPS to work, the drone was drifting up to maybe 18 inches. 45cm, enough that I had to take a step to hand catch it. Normally in daylight and at the same place the drift would be maybe 2 inches, 5cm.

It would be simple enough to test, in a place with good GPS reception and good lighting do a low level hover with the GPS and VPS functioning. Then mask the downward looking sensors and try similar hover.

Indoors, i.e. with inadeqate GPS, my Mavic Mini is cm stationary in a hover.

One other thought would be to calibrate the remote. Mine did drift a bit and after I did this it is now fine.
