When will we see the OM4 firmware update? It has been almost a year!

Unless they decide to filter some features down from the OM5 i think that ship has sailed.

There is ALWAYS room for tweaking and a decent company that appreciates and wants long term repeat customers. Also, sadly the OM4 is the best DJI phone gimbal you can buy in 2021 as the OM5 is a disaster in so many ways.

Sadly experience has taught me once they move onto another model they seam to forget about previous ones. I keep thinking im going to get a OM5 but i talk myself out of it before i pull the trigger. The OM4 never seamed a big enough upgrade from the 3 for me to buy.

im hoping the osmo action 2 isnt what the leaks are saying it is. I dont want to be having to buy add ons for a front screen etc.

Don’t do it. I actually bought the OM5 and sent it back it’s a total POS!
Only ones liking it are the YouTube shills that get them for feee. Just look on Amazon only been out a week and ratings are in the 30% range. Really pathetic.
Active Tracking and Story Mode are software enhancements they “could” give the OM4 and should to save face on the OM5 launch debacle.

It’s been a year. The OM5 is garbage you know this because you released an OM4se just not in the US to save face. I would say updating and keeping your best smartphone gimbal viable until the OM6 “hopefully”  corrects the errors committed releasing the OM5. this is also the  best way to retain customers before the competition releases the 2022 gimbals.

I was planning on skipping another OM product and will get the Pocket 3 when it comes out.
