I own the Smart Controller already and even at 1000nits it's not bright enough on sunny days here in Arizona. I'm disappointed in that it seems the new SC will still only be 5" or so and 1000nits. I want to actually see where and what I'm flying over so I did this:
2200Nit HDMI display driven by the HDMI out on the SC. I made this video Yesterday, Friday Oct 1st.
It's a bright sunny day here today so I'm going to go out and record what the screen looks like compared to the SC screen. Heading out over the desert shortly.Here's the short, very short video showing the difference between the 2 displays.
