As a hobbyist, you can fly at night (there is a carve out in the 107 for this, forget the number), you just have to make sure that the drone is visible with a couple of strobes
like the Cree strobes, visible for about 3 miles.
IF you are flying under the 107 part for a money/compensation, then you need to get a waiver/permission to fly at night.
IF something happens during your night flight, you just best be able to prove/differentiate between a hobby flight, and a compensated flight.... |
