I was flying in Istanbul (no no-fly zone, no interference, compass calibrated before takeoff). Suddenly I lost the GPS signal at an altitude of 120m and the drone switched to ATTI mode. When I wanted to land the drone had a GPS signal again but thought it was in Ankara (over 500km away from me) which led to a crash and total loss. Unfortunately DJI will not help me (very disappointed as a longtime customer).

I tried, but DJI wanted 50 Euro just to examine the logfiles.

Had a look at your log.

At 2m39s your Mavic2 into ATTI mode, distance out 221 meter.
No errors about why it entered ATTI, only this "Satellitenpositionsbestimmung aus. Fliege vorsichtig."
GPS sats down to low number and quality of signal to zero, that ofcourse is reason for ATTI.Sometimes this value is set to zero * due to errors, so drone does not use GPS data ; but than the LatLon is still updated during ATTI
* If that happens than this value goes from 4 or 5 to 0 at once.
In your flight is stepped down from 5,4,3 to 0 in almost 1 second.

At 3m28s GPS mode again, in the log same distance out, but in that period some pitch inputs were given so postion must have changed. (plus ofcourse moving if there was wind)
But still the quality of signal only 2, so no updating.

LatLon 41.014202, 28.962670 did not change while you did the flying....reason imo the low number of sats + signal quality.

After a while the GPS signal oke again, so GPS position should become updated BUT at 4m18s the LatLon position changed to 40.113952, 32.996328 ; distance to HP now 355143 meter!
Because distance to home is that high, craft will land at current postion automatically.  "Flugger zu weit vom Startpunkt entfernt. Flugger landet jetzt automatisch"

I think DJI should explain why the position did change suddenly to a complete wrong positon, could be a hardware fail in that drone system.

At 2:38.1 the number of sats dropped from 15 to 5 or 6.
At a height of 400 ft, this could only be due to a hardware fault or GPS jamming technology.
The jump to Ankara is not something that the user could cause.
And it's not a normal kind of error.

GPS jamming is rare, I've only seen cases a few times but I suspect it was the cause of the problem.

That's what I thought too, thanks.
Unfortunately I opened a case with DJI but they told me they want 50 euros to analyze the case. I'm really disappointed with DJI's handling.
