I was warming up then I saw a hawk started following my drone. I tried to shoo it away. It didn't get scared. LOL! It even attacked my drone. Luckily I was able to regain control after it attacked it. I found out just few minutes ago that one of the arms specifically the area where motor is mounted is broken. The motor is still screwed well. Anyways, check it out! The attack of the hawk is really cool!

Well, you were rather provoking it by buzzing it on its perch on the lamp-post.(0m57sec) We can only hope the hawk wasn't injured defending its territory.

It wasn't injured. I have another video. It flew close to me where I was standing and landed on the tree. She was like 10ft away from me only. She still wanted to grab the drone. LOL. I'll share it tomorrow since it's 2am now. She is beautiful! it was my very first close encounter. I was scared that it might attack me.

Was that hawk still in the last shot?

Very interesting video Neil.    At the speeds you were flying and the maneuvers you were doing I would have thought the hawk would have shown no interest in the drone.  However, that might well be what triggered the attack.  Hope there was no major damage to your FPV.

Thank you! Quite honestly, when I was using Betaflight firmware, I was never able to recover my quad in a crash, always fail. However, with Emuflight firmware, I am not sure how they did it. An Emuflight developer told me 2 months ago that recovering from a crash like hitting a tree branch or hitting the ground is one of Emuflight's greatest feature. It has happened 5 times now and I was able to recover from all 5 crashes.

I actually found out last night that there is a minor damage. The arm where motor is mounted got some minor chip. It can still fly. Everything is intact. It's one thing I like with homemade fpv drones. They are extremely durable.

Here is the damage but just minor.
