OMG, This Is crazy!

At least they are doing something....we will see more and more as they will fix the FLy for M3...prepare to be DJI "testers" for free...

Can I fly Mavic Air 2 with DJI Go 4? I use that with my Spark and Android phone and iPad, just got a second hand Air 2 with no instructions.

No you can only use the DJI FLY APP

EDIT: I updated fw and Flyapp the same day. During the test flight the app jumped (crashed)  2 times to main screen and I had to tap go fly button to return to camera view, I have 3 flight records for the 1 flight, so I can not say it is fine...

He he....never update Firmware as soon as appears....The app you can install and then delete...the firmware is sensitive, I always leave others to test it...(of course, this should be DJI, but we know how is working already).

I just tried build 1425, using my Air 2S and Smart Controller. Nothing stood out negatively except the altitude limit was reading 1128 ft. instead of 360. When I approached 360 it gave me a proper warning. Display bug I assume. On the positive sign range was good, battery reading accurate as far as I could see, and the irritating video lag I have seen in every version since 1.44 is gone. When I yaw there is no video drop out, everything is smooth. So that's a nice update. 1 big step forward, one little step back with max altitude display.  Will try a few more flights to verify what  saw not his latest flight. Very happy about the lag being gone. At least it seems that way. all m settings survived then update, did not have to change anything back.

I have just tested it. For Air2s works perfect. Nothing new though.

I have downloaded and installed... will fly it in a couple of hours. One thing of note, all the flight profile data is in metric and can't be changed. The RTH and other aircraft settings are in imperial. I'm not sure how or why that changed. Going to the control menu won't do it, it is already set to imperial. It's just in the flight profile where I have my flight history. It's all in metric, but should be displayed in imperial. Not a big deal, but that data has always displayed as imperial. So odd.
Build 1425 completely solved the video lag I was seeing between the SC and my Air 2S. Hopefully that is preserved in build 1430. That would be wonderful.

Flew 1430 without incident. Still no video lag. So all good so far.

Smart Controller, which is working much better with the updated software. No complaints at all.

Not the I have observed over two flights. it used to be easy to spot with dropped video when yawing.

since upgrading to this version of fly, files, stills and video, do not sync to phone, even though I have turned on the new feature.  It worked fine before I upgraded to 1.4.12.    I have also heard there are different build versions of V1.4.12

Do You have the 1.4.12(1430) build?

One black screen and fully restarted the Fly app by itself in middle of flight, then had no visible issues...The cable is checked and is fine.
Also there was a very strong lag in response from phone screen (not video lag, but buttons lag), If i try to move the histogram or just change the FPS or SS in PRO in video, a lot of lag in response (almost thought that the screen was blocked and non responsive).
All other apps were closed, as I never fly with background apps opened, WIFI closed, BTH closed...
Phone: Huawei P30 Pro, last version android 10, all updated.

Will give another try after full app delete and clean reinstall, in order to see how is going.
A2S firmware was not updated at last one (is just previous one that worked OK), I don't trust a firmware update that just say: Improved security...and that is all explaining. )))

Everything is working good on the iphone here, range is better then before, solid no lag and clean video. Have not got livestream working yet I guess youtube wants a pin and DJI only has an address line input?

I think I'm going to give up on the constant failure of software updates and look for another brand of drone. I was still waiting for a final no bug release of 1.4.8 and now we have a half dozen builds on 1.4.12 and can't do something as simple as turn on a LED. I HAD NOT PLANED ON THIS DRONE BEING AN ONGOING EXPERIMENT.

Yes, Yesterday was fully reinstalled, all other apps forced closed, is acting a little strange...
Some moments is entering in a powerful lag in response from phone screen, like is eating all resources and CPU 100%....I press PRO in order to change the SS and WB....and just wait...and wait...for 3-4 seconds...In this time if I press record or Take Photo, is working... Soooo strange...
And P30 Pro does have a pretty powerful CPU and GPU, so is not about phone, is the App that is eating all resources at once.

No doubt that it must be sw problem. It used to work flawlessly on the same phone (powerful Snapdragon 865) with the same Android version, update just broke it...

Seems that the Huawei updated the Android to Ver 11.

I have tried also Autel Explorer on same phone, there was also a powerful lag only in setting the video/photo like ISO, AF/MF, resolution and so on....

Autel fixed it in the Beta version, seems that now is OK... DJI still needs a fix for Android 11, the update from Android 10 to 11 seems to causing this....strange is that the 1.4.8 is not affected in Android 11....so in 1.4.12 ver 1430 is a problem related to Android 11 and is behaving very nasty.

Sony updated to Android 11 early this year and all was working fine till the 1.4.8 app version in my case. They say 1.4.12 is ready for Android 12 but I had 1420 and 1430 build on my phone and both versions restarted midflight and have random lag when touching the screen... I will try to reinstall the app otherrwise I have to return to 1.4.8 (if it will be working with latest update of drone fw).
