I am planning to purchase a DJI RS 2. I currently am using my 13 Pro Max as my main camera. I was planning to purchase a DJI OM 5 but read it is not compatiible with the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I use lenses with my iPhone anyway. So I need something that will support it. My biggest question is..... Will I be able to use active track and record at the same time using my iPhone as the main camera?

I plan on upgrading to a Bmpcc 6K Pro next year. So I would rather purchase the gimbal I will need now. I am using the iPhone currently to help me learn Cinematography while making a short film. Please any help anwsering my question would be a great help.

No... you can use active track with Osmo Mobile.

If you wan´t use AT with RS2, you need have HDMI out to RE + second phone to AT control (if direct control with RS2 is not enought).
