Is the glass on the mini 2 camera scratch proof etc?

It would need to have gorilla glass or the like and ive not seen any mention of any special glass

It's not mentioned in any of DJI's marketing material.  I highly doubt it is scratch proof.  I would treat it like any other camera lens and do your best to not scratch it.

I have put an ND filter on once, but otherwise no protection. Some have noted gimbal instability with added filters.

You can add a UV filter if youre concerned,  but so far its been pretty good for me.

Have a look at the MCUV fitters. they also add a bit of saturation.
