Hey everyone, back in January, I flew my drone and got the "Propellers Rotating too fast warning" and I couldn't make it home. I replace the one corner but it still didn't fix it. I sent it to DJI and they didn't fix it either and when it got back it had the same issue. So I called them again and sent it in, they charged me $40 and said it was replaced, and I used it a couple times since then and the issue was back last night. So I'm wondering, do they take the old props from my old drone and put it on the new one? Anyways, I bought a new box of props and instead I'm gonna replace all of them instead of just the one corner. If anyone knows any other cause to this warning, and if it caused any permanent damage to the drone, that would be great, thanks!

Did you check the serial number to make sure they did not send the bad one back? Are you at an elevated altitude?

Are you storing it in the flymore combo hard case?

Are you storing it in the flymore combo hard case?

What is the problem with using the Flymore Combo hardcase?

And where/how should I store the drone instead?

I do not have the warning - yet…

There were issues of storing in the case, with the props on, and it seems that it was putting pressure on the blades, and deforming them, to the point that they did not have enough pitch to hold the AC.
Hence the "overspeed" issue...

Is there anyway to store it in the case without damaging it?

Hello there AidanDroneFan. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Are you receiving any error messages on your DJI Mavic Mini on the DJI Fly application. To ensure a safe and enjoyable flying experience with your DJI Mavic Mini, DJI have added a new safety notification feature on the DJI Mavic Mini on its firmware. This new feature lets customers know when propellers need to be inspected or replaced. In addition I will post an official DJI thread with regards to this matter. Thank you.

Last time I had this error a replacement set of props fixed for me.   It caused by them warping slightly (probably getting caught going in and and out of bag) and becoming less efficient.

Thanks. Good idea!

What do you think about the "prop guards" for storage that are available on many platforms. Are they any good - or doing the same damage to the props?

I haven't tried them so I can't say.  I just don't want anything touching the props when stored.

If you position the the rear props so that instead of crossing directly across the Mini body, but rather pointed partially forward before putting them inti the combo case, it helps to prevent putting pressure on those props.

I got these; - the DJI blade holders do not hold the blade like they say it needs to be held - these do.

See this post for photos of why the blades are being twisted.
