Hi there! Something weird has happened.

I was on DJI Fly v1.4.12 (1410 official) and when I checked the DJI site, it had a newer (1420 official) build that I manually updated. Since then, the app has been prompting me to update to the same build continuously. If I do that and restart the app, it starts all over again. I have uninstalled the app completely and purged the cache files just to be sure, to no change. The Aircraft is on the latest Firmware v02.04.2080 and flies just fine.

Got the notification update too, downloaded and installed 1420 official but not getting the recurring update. However my nephew keep getting the recurring update notification

Just turn off "auto check update" feature, and manually apply the verified stable "update".  my 2 cents

Maybe they are waiting on getting all the bugs out of the Android version before they release the iOS version.

I hope so,  as they seem to have released this a few times now on android.   And I want to try the live streaming to YouTube.

I've seen a few YTs that were lived streamed direct from a DJI drone.  All were shot clips but the quality did not seem bad.

Stop teasing.  I really want to do this.   With the M2P you need a lot of subscribers to do it,  and Im not sure if it even works now.

I'm sure it can't be too far off before DJI releases an iOS version and then you can experiment with live streaming on your Mini 2.

Heard a rumour the go4 update was for Mavic 3 support,  but then I think thats pure speculation.

I sure hope that turns out to be true.  The more I get used to Go4 the more I like it over the Fly App.

Bill the drone reviewer was chatting about it last night,   they seem to think that the pros who are used to the M2P and get the M3 will find the fly app too basic,  so its their opinion that either the fly app gets a massive update as per another rumour or they go with the go4 app that just got an update.

My preference would be to use the Go 4 App.  I'm sure with the release not far off that the decision as to which App to use was made many months ago.

Id like to see that too,   it makes sure that the app continues to get support.   But I have a plan for that.  As I change my iPhone every year Im going to dedicate an iPhone 7+ to drone flying,   its a little smaller and will fit the controllers better.

Sounds like you have a good plan in place.  Me, I prefer a much bigger screen so I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and will probably bump that up to the upcoming S8.

I do too but the 7 fits both drone without extras and it won’t get IOS16 so I’ll keep it setup and ready to go. Then on bright days I’ll probably break out the 13pro max.

Yes.  Seems to work ok. Not the brightest screen. But it’s a new one I fitted a few months ago so it’s prestine.

Well, having the brightest screen usually only comes into play on the sunniest of days so you should be okay for the most part.

The weather has been son unpredictable lately.  Maybe you will get more sunny days in the future.  In the meantime keep taking advantage of all the "windows of opportunity" to fly.
