Hello fellas, fresh face here from Garland TX, a little town about 10 miles east of Dallas. I just took delivery of a Mini 2 Fly More Combo today. I really want to put some time into learning this rig before I even power it up. I've never flown a drone but have flown RC planes. Any recommendations for YT vids to get me started? I searched Youtube here and didn't come up with much and I did see the tutorials page but I'm looking for more.

Also, are there any members from the DFW area here?

Just type in Mini 2 tutorial in the youtube search bar, read the main manual though, thats the 1st thing to do, there is so much you will learn from that alone, from battery usage/storage/charging, to RTH and much more, read the notes at the bottom of the sections too

Welcome!  I live near DFW and have been flying since April.  A few of my favorite DJI Mini 2 YouTubers are:  Windswept Robert, Ian in London, FlytPath, Jeven Dovey, and I also follow 51 Drones, Darren McHardy, Tech Drone Media, UAV Coach and Pilot Institute, to name a few.  I also reccomend Mavicpilots.com and Grey Arrows Drone Club UK:  https://greyarro.ws/

Have fun and ask questions!

Welcome to the world of flying.
Take it slow and safe.
There is a lot to like about this hobby, but it is also a risky one.

Some of the words that auto correct changes are really amusing.

Indeed,  sometimes I wonder if I should reset the keyboard and loose all the words its already learned and start again.

I did exactly that once before, but alas it has already learned new tricks to fool me with.

MetroCat, DO NOT skim over the manual, read and re-read, it pays off!  If you have a very large area where you can fly without distractions,
go there, reference the manual, and try different things, see how it flies.   Some folks get it right the first time, I need repeating, over and over.
With your past experiences with other craft, you'll get it quickly.  Stay safe, fly safe.
