Isn't it amazing how nature can form interesting things like the mini sand bars.  I'm sure as a diver you've seen some incredible formations underwater.  

I do like Tony's top down shots and he keeps coming up with very creative ones.

This was an accidental discovery because I was just flying randomly there,but I always wondered why the water is shallow and decided to take a look! :-D

Oh absolutely.  But I've only been flying drones since April.  So, its so fun to see these things from the sky.

Aerial shots definitely give you a very different perspective.  Also amazing what you can spot from the air that you'd never find from ground level.

I KNOW RIGHT!  I tried getting sharks this summer at OBX but the vis was awful!

Ah, that is a real shame.  About 4 years back I dove on the wreckage of the USS Huron and visibility was great on that day.

I didn't dive.  They had spotted them from the beach and made everyone get out.  I love diving wrecks but on the east coast I get too sea sick,

If you get seasick diving on the East Coast then you probably would get motion sickness flying the DJI FPV.  

Anyway, plenty of freshwater sites to dive in.  I tried cave diving once in South America and found out I did not enjoy that at all.

Absolutely go give it a try.  Worse case is you just get a bit dizzy.  I hear that a lot of the DJI FPV pilots sit down to fly.

Glad that you agree.  

A friend and owner at the local dive shop called to see if I wanted to dive a private lake with him to try and recover a sunken 20' boat and motor for the owner.  I have never done salvage work but I said what the heck and am going with him.  Wish me luck.

I always wanted to watch that sometime!  Or do it.  Did you see them bringing up all the tires from the ocean?  I'd love to be part of that too

There is so much "junk" on the ocean floor.  Hard to believe how some of it got there.

True.  However, the tires were intention.  I guess since metal wrecks grew nice coral and housed lots of fish, they thought rubber could too

The problem with tires is they have a deleterious effect on the environment.  In Florida due to tire product toxicity, mutagenicity, and carcinogenicity of tire exposure to aquatic animals and microbes a law was passed that tires could no longer be dumped along Florida coastlines.

I saw a recent study where tire mulch was leaching into the soil on school and park playgrounds.
