I love this place since I first saw it on a postcard. It's huge, pretty much senseless, but great and easy to get to. It was built 1997 weighing some 200 tons, 20 meter high and 54 m wide.
Next stop is Derwentcote Steel Furnace which was view exterior only.
Same for Prudhoe Castle.
Benwell Roman Temple is for those with a good imagination.
No flying there - same for Newcastle's Roman Catholic Cathedral from the first half of the 19th century and Bessie Surtie's house.
The next stops on my quest to visit every English Heritage sights are St. Paul's Monastary with its earliest roots in the 7th century and one of my favorites: Tynemouth Priory and Castle, sat on a rocky promontory. As an afterthought it wasn't the best idea to fly through the sea gulls and not only because of the safety of the drone.
Last stop is St. Mary's lighthouse. The island is a bird refuge which became obvious pretty quickly and made me seek refuge myself. No close encounters.
DJI Mini 2, DJI FPV drone with a GoPro Hero 6/Reelsteady, DJI Osmo Pocket.
Another great collection Depp. We stopped off a couple of years ago to see the Angel. It was raining of course! It is huge when you're standing beneath it.

No trouble at all but quite a bit of work: I had to take out every single piece of electronic and filled four crates with my three drones.
Thanks about the style. I aim for "cinematic". While I admire the skills of those flying freestyle I don't particularly like to watch it...
I especially liked the footage of Tynemouth Priory and Castle.
Thank you, Downtown.
Yes, love those places as well. But I'm not very happy how it came out as drone footage because it's such a wide area and English Heritage frowns on drones so I try to keep well away.
But if you're close on your trip it's certainly worth to put on your list...

You're very welcome Depp. Will definitely consider it for my list.
