Most likely a buzzard. We get those in the garden occasionally and it was the right colour & size. But it was so quick I wouldn’t want to go definitive on that.
I’ve not seen any for a while but I do love finding owl pellets, and having a peak inside. I’ve liked doing that since I was 7 and a wildlife park introduced me to them.
We had a wide range of wildlife in the garden, back in France. One Spring, we were "adopted" for a short while by a young Kestrel, which appeared on the landing windowledge one morning. I'll dig out the photos from the archive. Lovely colouring. |
