Tribute to our “DeltaWorks”

Here in the Netherlands we are guarded from floods from the sea by the "DeltaWorks".
We are currently at the coast, close to a part of that comprehensive plan: the Oosterschelde Flood defense.

I wanted to shoot it at sunset and ven though the sunset was not visible due to clouds, it is okay anyway.

First time I hit the maximum distance I had set

It surprised me when it came in.

But not a real issue, it was far enough, almost crossed the whole barrier

Indeed a vast distance to cross. But an open space and not much other interference. Only the wind can be of some disturbance to fly.
Did some long exposure with an ND1000 in that area.
Very rewarding subject.

It was a very bright morning and wanted to expose to show more of the water passing thru.
It sure slows down the shutter speed. The tricky thing is that it still is a drone hanging in the sky and there's wind ...

That is a mighty nice picture.
No movement unsharpness whatsoever on the barrier, so the drone must have been able to stay steady.

Was that the pro or the mini?

A mavic 2 pro.

I had a little bit of wind. Tried an ND2000 too, to slow it further down, but after taking several pictures I still had motion blur in all of them.
