Stokesay Castle absolutely stunning.



Stokesay Castle was constructed at the end of the 13th century by Laurence of Ludlow, who at the time was one of the richest men in England. It remains a treasure by-passed by time, one of the best places to visit in England to experience what medieval life was like.

Stokesay Castle is one of the finest surviving fortified manor houses in England, and situated at Stokesay in Shropshire

It took 9 years to build.
It is the most well preserved castle of it’s time.

Drone chappy,  First: Thank you for sharing, the castle is impressive.  Second:  Sorry to say but your "jump cuts" were un-nerving to my eyes.
Third:  Well, well, well . . .no others have mentioned your cohort, that moves from the timber railing over to the part of the tower where the flag
is, and IF that is no cohort, then are the people who own/take care of the castle, aware of something moving up there?

Drone chappy, concerning my mention of a "cohort," I reference in your video the timing of 0:11 to 0:17 as the camera is backing away from the tower
with a flag.  There is a railing like structure that looks to be made of wood, and at the junction of two sections, there is a figure dressed all in black.
That figure moves back slightly, then traverses  - camera left - to the area of where the flag is seen.  After which, this moving object is no longer seen.
I know that ghosts are a castle fixture in some cases, but wondered if the person in question is an acquaintance of yours (for effect in the video),
or . . . perhaps it is truly a long time resident?  Enquiring minds want to know.  Again, thank you so much for sharing.

In my editing I reversed the footage
So he was walking out of the stairwell
Yes do look quite spooky.

Drone chappy, ahhh . . .a very nice effect.  I try to do justice to all photos and videos that I look at, and pay attention to details, that is why
