That could have been very good with all the leading lines.

Is it protected in some way as I would have thought some of the land would have been reused for something else by now.

Yes the yard,   it doesn't appear it needs to be this big anymore so I would have guessed it would get reused for something else.  Land sold etc.

I read somewhere the the railway was one of the UK’s biggest land lords as they do this almost everywhere.

But that is our main thing when we are in Sweden.

I sold it.
New regulations in EU (and NL) meant that I could not fly it in many places (legally).
I bought the Mini 2 as a replacement, but that is not the same.

Plans for sure. But not very realistic.
We don't have a 'specific' dream that can only be fulfilled in Sweden and leaving family, band, friends, school, work etc. is too much of a change right now (and probably always will be for us)
If we want to do this, it should be done now, since the oldest is 12 now (they will have to come with us and start their life over in Sweden).
But the step is way too big for us.
We are not that kind of people and we have a good life here.
Maybe try and get a job at a Swedish company that is also located in the NL.
(Scania for example).
Or buy a summer house once.
Who knows.
