Hi there, I notice that my DJI Mini 2 does not stay at the same height sometimes, he change the height by himself, he descends about 10cm and back.

Does anyone know what is the problem?

Normal as far as I know.

How do you know if you got a male or female mini 2?

Hi Stephen. No, I can't see any error on the DJI Fly application, however, I use the DJI Fly app downloaded from Google, not from App Store, because the application is not available there anymore.

With rapid pitch changes the MINI2 changes height few cm indeed, normal for a mini.
In Sport mode this is seen even more.

Hovering Accuracy Range
    Vertical: ±0.1 m (with Vision Positioning), ±0.5 m (with GPS Positioning)
    Horizontal: ±0.3 m (with Vision Positioning), ±1.5 m (with GPS Positioning)

Yes, I check it, but to be honest, I don't understand what that means.

Imagine you want to measure the height of a table by holding a ruler next to it. But you are in the back of a truck which is driving over a bumpy road. So your reading is all over the place, since you cant hold the ruler steady to get a clear reading. So it seems like the height of the table is changing. Now imagine the table does indeed change its height, its what it does, and you want to keep track of it. Not that easy. Same for the drone: It doesnt know its real height, it only gets such readings that keep changing.

That's normal behavior because it is within the listed specs for the Mini 2.

It means that the drone won't hold height exactly.
Its vertical holding ability can be expected to vary by ±0.5 m in normal flight or by ±0.1 m when you are down low enough  for VPS to work (if the ground is well lit and has a suitable pattern/texture for VPS.

The "problem" is that your Mini 2 is meeting the specs. Consider yourself lucky ;-) Hovering over very bright or plain ground texture, I have seen much more.
