I’ve noticed this before in certain publications and listings, but can anyone tell me the difference between the L1Z and L1P models of the Mavic 2 Zoom? Mine is an L1P, but idk if there is even a difference in firmware, hardware, etc..?

L1P is the Mavic 2 Pro. L1Z is the Mavic 2 Zoom. Different cameras.

Makes logical sense, but my Mavic 2 Zoom is the one in the photo but it even says Mavic 2 Pro on the body too, but it’s obviously the Zoom, not the Pro. I know the cameras are technically interchangeable by just removing a few screws and cables, but does that mean Dji put a Zoom camera on a Pro body when they manufactured it? And that’s how mine is an L1P?

I have no idea about the wrong label. Could have been a mistake applying the wrong one or a retrofit of the camera.

Have you got a picture of the camera?

I have the Mavic 2 ZOOM. On the internal label, it shows  DJI Mavic 2 Zoom - Model : L1Z.  On the outside of the drone, it just says MAVIC (nothing else)  I bought the drone new, in FRANCE, direct from DJI

Seems a bit odd considering I bought it new and it’s a Zoom. I’m not too concerned about why it’s labeled or built wrong as long as it functions properly, which it does. But I just didn’t k own if there was any difference in the interest components at all between the two model numbers. But mine is clearly a Zoom labeled with the L1P name.

Yep, that looks like a Zoom camera to me.

Yep thats the zoom not the pro.
