I love the 3D Focus module on my BMPCC4K + RS2, for my Run & Gun style video stories it works on at least 80% of shots. But obviously the new Lidar Range Finder on the 4D is an entirely different beast, as I understand with 43,200 measurement points and a range of 10 meters instead of one(?) central measurement point and 4 meters. Given that the 4D is a professional product in a different price range, while the RS2 is a prosumer product, wouldn't it make sense for DJI to bring the new Lidar Range Finder as a standalone module also to the RS2 market segment and enable off-center autofocus tracking via the RS2? I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one to buy it on the spot. What do you say, DJI, any plans?

It would be nice if they develop to work 3d focus without rs2 also.
