Hello dji mavic AIR 2 peoples

I noted some red note at the right top corner "fwd and bkwd unavailable" is it OK?
It means that mavic AIR 2 have not such a sensors or at my drone such a sensors are broken?

Sorry for this question, but I have not found any threads about this error on the internet!

Thank you.

This happen to my mavic air 2 just now. I used the DJI assistant app on my computer and successfully calibrated but it came out the same. FWD and BKWD unavailable. What should I do? I live in the Philippines.

Hello friends, this is my first drone, and I try to operate it carefully.
There were no incidents, I voluntarily flew 15-20 times and I always try to adjust the compass before take off. Every time I try to install the newest one firmware as the system itself notifies me. No error other than this is outlined.

Thank you. I think I have found a solution:

A) Re-Install latest firmware
B) Re-Calibration



All Done and all sensors are OK


Update: the same problem is

Status Update:

A) Re-Install latest firmware - Done Successfully
B) Re-Calibration - Done Successfully
All sensors (Cameras) are working OK
Forward Sensors


Downward Sensors


Backward Sensors


but after take off "fwd and bkwd unavailable"

DJI This is a bug and needs to be fixed!

This might happen when there is not enough light where you fly or you're in sport mode!

The calibration all sensors (cameras) work fine and are calibrated without problems. But after taking off, the front and rear sensors are not available and this happened after the last firmware before that the front and rear sensors worked.

A basic question, but are you sure the sensors are enabled in safety settings in DJI Fly? Try to set it to Break instead of Bypass

I am now currently having the same issues with Sensors, on my Mavic Pro 3, as well as my Mini 3.
Seems to be a firmware problem for the Mavic Series as well.  I missed 2 good opportunities for roof inspections, because of this.  THIS should be blowing up the forums tremendously!!!  Obviously I'm not the only one with the same problem.  P.S.  NONE of my DJI drones have crashed.  EVER!  Don't point your problems at users, first!

You mean as in Broad Daylight, in Cine Mode or Regular mode?  My Mini 3 and now my Mavic Pro 3 are "Suddenly" having the same issues.  The Mavic Pro 3 has NO sensors available FWD/BKWRD/UP/Down!!!

Hi, I have a new DJI MINI 3 PRO. After update the firmware, the FWD AND BKWD vision sensors unavailable. I have use the latest DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) to calibrate the sensors. But after take off, the sensors still not available. Please advise.

I do not this problem before I update the firmware. It may be because of the firmware.

You might have better luck posting on the Mini 3 forum.

DJI really needs to offer the ability to factory reset to "new, out of the box" condition.  Every firmware for the Air 2 has got progressively worse.  I do not fly mine anymore due to erroneous vision sensor errors that cropped up after firmware updates.  When it was new, before any firmware updates.....it just worked, really well.
