I have already posted this eleswhere, but it was suggested I'd be more likely to get a reponse here.I  have just got my Pixel 6 pro  and while I can connect to my Mini 2, the camera output is not visible.  The histogram is though and is clearly responding to changes in light.

My old phone (a Pixel XL) still works fine.
I suspect this is an issue with this phone and, as there will soon be a lot of users meeting the same problem, it would be good if the tecnical people would investigate.

I have the same issue with the pixel 6 Pro and mini 2. We realize that this phone is not listed as a compatible device, but we would like to bring this issue to the attention of dji as something that needs to be addressed. This is going to be a very popular device, and there will be many disappointed customers until it is resolved.

I was so relieved to know that it's not just me who has been facing this issue. Yes, I just bought a new mini 2 and a pixel 6 pro, so you can imagine my shock when a new drone does everything well apart from showing the camera feed on my screen. I am facing the same issue and it's understandable now that since the pixel 6 phones are quite new in the market they are not yet compatible with the fly app. I hope DJI releases an update quickly addressing this issue as there'll be thousands of people who'd end up buying the new pixel phones. If you guys find a fix in the meanwhile do help out your fellow pilots facing the similar issue here.

I am facing the same issue, with the new Pixel 6 on Android 12 and the latest DJI Apps which I installed from the DJI Download Center.  All the settings and the menu interface are available in the App, but there is no live video feed, just a black screen. It is the same issue wheather with the DJI Fly App (V 1.4.12) using the Mavic Mini as the DJI MIMO App (v1.7.0) using the Osmo Action.  Disappointing.

Just got my pixel 6 pro and after traveling to my destination with family to fly and record videos... The bloody camera output wasn't showing. I tried everything. DJI please fix this issue ASAP

The android 12 beta version has been around for months ... I find DJI's total contempt for its customers ...

Mon drone mini 2 ne fonctionne pas ( écran noir) de l appli ) mais mon dji spark fonctionne bien avec mon pixel 6 pro.. L appli go 4 fonctionne donc y a pas raison que ça ne fonctionne pas avec la dji fly.

It's not only Fly that does not work.  Dji Go, Dji GO4, Dji Mimo as well as Dji Store immediately crash on startup on the Pixel 6 ...

Elle plantait aussi au départ sur le mien. J ai installé celle du site dji car pas à jour sur le play store. Pas top non plus de ne pas mettre à jour ses applications sur le play store.

Any update on this?  Mini 2 using a Pixel 6 Pro no camera image in app.  Running the beta version of Fly.

I can't even open the DJI Fly App on my Pixel 6 Pro, it just crashes instantly, same with the Ronin App. Mini 2 and RSC-2 are my work tools, not being able to use them for weeks is not an option. Hope DJI addresses this really quick.

Et attention car si vous faite la mise à jour de la batterie le drone ne voudra plus décollé même avec un autre smartphone.

Pour l'instant j'ai donc une batterie HS et le mini 2 qui fonctionne que sur mon ancien Huawei. Pas possible avec le pixel 6 .

Bon finalement la batterie remarche avec le huawei.

Following as I'm having the same issue now that I've upgraded to the Google Pixel 6 Pro.

Histogram works, I can take and view photos, I've deleted and reinstalled the app 3 times, but still no view transmission on my Pixel 6 Pro.

Same issue as others here. Is a fix coming?

you will get the comment Please wait the engineers have the info ...... problem is there must be only one engineer and he's probably busy fixing bugs on the mavic 3 ? or indeed possibly writing the code for the mavic 3 that will give it the features it's supposed to have,, do i think i would buy a mavic 3 after seeing how long its taking them to alter a program to work with the pixel 6 phones ?? those that have mavic 3 drones lets hope they worite the feature set for the drone faster than they seem to be able to get the software working ?

New App version out. Fixed the issue of black screen on Samsung s21 now have video feed. Worth a shot, see if it resolves the problem on Pixel 6/

Just hurd the news that mini 2 does not work with Pixel 6 pro. I havent used mine for quite some time as the usb on my previous phone was broken. Just recently got a pixel 6 pro and decided to try it.
And it Works! i have display on my phone from the camera. I was very carefully not to update any firmware.
The app is straight from DJI's website download today.
Aircraft FW: 01.03.0000
RC FW: 04.11.0016
Flysafe DB: 01.00.01.23
Flysafe DB for aaps: 01.00.01.25
App: 1.5.1

My question to everyone is what version are you on your DJI.

My pixel is fully upto date and its the UK version.

I am tempted to update the firmware but afraid it will break my dji.
Maybe someone can try downgrading and testing it.

This just came out today folks. Download from DJI site. Still shows v1.5.1 but the sub version is 2025 vs 1800.

Not firmware, it is a new build of the Fly app.

Got the latest version on pixel 6 released today for Fly app for Mavic mini and I have camera view. 1638265859269-DJI-v1.5.1-211130-2025-49901-official-sec.apk

Not Firmware!! Fly app version. Download new Fly app version see if that fixes the issue with black screen.

new version ( still labeled 1.5.1 but with 2025 on the end ,, now works with my pixel 6 pro .. .better late than never   uninstall your exisiting 1.5.1 then re download off dji site and re install

I can confirm that the new version works on my Pixel 6 with what seems like full functionality. Now hoping that the Mimo app gets a fix soon too.

I tried accepting the update offered within the Fly app and there was no difference.  After uninstalling the app then downloading and installing the APK, the video feed is restored!!  You might thinks they would have the decency to inform us rather than leaving it to us fo find out!

Attention Pixel 6'ers!! Firmware update now available!! Camera works on Google 6 and MINI 2!  Thanks DJI for getting it done so quickly and Merry Christmas!!!

Bought the Pixel 6 Pro. Wife bought me the Mini 2 for Christmas.

Open everything, plug it all together, download the app. Won't download or open the app. Keeps closing. Went right to DJI to download the app, got it downloaded and opened. I didn't see the Mini 2 in the devices. Selected the closest one.

Powered on the drone, powered on the remote, connected the phone to the remote via tether and I can't get passed that. The phone isn't recognizing anything.

Came here for answers but no answer yet it sounds like. I'm gonna look for a tablet I suppose. This bums me out lol
