I've flown in high K-index conditions many times and thousands of others have too, but there hasn't been a single drone flying incident that can be attributed to flying in high K-index conditions.
Not one.
But journalists, forums and UAV forecast still scare people unnecessarily each time it comes around.
The facts are that if there was any effect on your GPS, it isn't likely to be anything you'd even notice.
