I recently saw a couple of aircraft detected warnings, I am wondering what is the detection range and is there anyway to display, in the goggles, the whereabouts and height of the plane? Also, where is the 'sensor'/receiver, drone or goggles etc.?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's in the drone. When they released the Mavic Air 2 they incorporated such a sensor and people complained even then that the message wasn't really useful unless you knew more about it (e.g. 500 m above you...). I wouldn't expect them to fix it any time soon - or at all.

Hello there Sean-bumble-bee. Good day and thank you for sharing these information with us. In addition to this post the DJI AirSense is an alert system that uses ADS-B technology to give drone pilots enhanced situational awareness and help them make responsible decisions while flying. This feature gathers flight data sent automatically from nearby aircraft with ADS-B transmitters, analyzing it to detect potential collision risks and alert users well in advance through the DJI mobile application. For reference I will post a DJI link where in you can read more about the DJI AirSense ( https://www.dji.com/flysafe/airsense ).  Thank you.

The receiver is in the drone.

I fly nearby No fly zone and receive the messages every time I fly. The planes are passing directly over head but the most are 600 meters higher. In most cases it is not a big deal where the plane is, unless you are flying on the air field (which I don't believe is even possible with Dji FPV Drone), because if you are a sensible person you don't get yourself in a situation where this info is really relevant ...
